76 CURRENT LIMIT SOURCE
Screen 76 I LIM SRC = 00
Description CURRENT LIMIT SOURCE
Options 00/01/02
FUNCTION The current limit may be set from one of three
sources as defined below:
No. 00
Name INTERNAL
Notes Current limit is defined by the parameter set in
Screen 18.
No. 01
Name 010 V
Notes Current limit is set by the value obtained from
the analogue 010V contol input.
10V corresponds to the current limit level set
by Screen 18.
No. 02
Name 420mA
Notes Current limit is set by the value obtained from
the analogue 420mA control input.
20mA corresponds to the current limit level set
by Screen 18.
SETTING UP If 010V or 420mA source is selected, ensure
that the feedback source (Screen 65) and the
reference source (Screen 64) are not set to
the same source.
77 TORQUE BOOST MODE
Screen 77 AUTOBOOST = Y
Description SELECT TORQUE BOOST MODE
Options [Y]ES/[N]O
FUNCTION In order to obtain full torque at low frequency,
voltage boost must be applied. This option
permits configuration for automatic boost (Y)
or fixed boost (N). Refer to Screen 14 for set-
up of boost levels.
SETTING UP For normal single motor operation, Autoboost
provides best performance and should be left
set to [Y]ES. For multiple motor operation,
select Autoboost to [N]O.
Autoboost does not operate at zero frequency,
therefore applications which are required to
produce torque at zero frequency (e.g., hoists)
must have Autoboost set to [N]O.
Autoboost automatically varies the boost level
according to the load condition, as a ratio of the
level set by Screen 14. Screen 14 must still be
set to a level appropriate to the motor being
used.
78 RUN AT MINIMUM FREQUENCY
Screen 78 RUN AT MIN FR = N
Description RUN AT MINIMUM FREQUENCY MODE SELECT
Options [Y]ES/[N]O
FUNCTION When run at minimum frequency is enabled
(Y), the Microdrive will continue to run even
when the reference frequency is set below
the minimum frequency level (MIN FR - refer to
Screen 21). However, the Microdrive will
operate at the minimum frequency. If run at
minimum frequency is disabled (N) then the
Microdrive will stop and wait in the ready mode
if the reference frequency is reduced below
the minimum frequency.
The inch command will override the minimum
frequency limitations.
SETTING UP If the Microdrive is required to run (at the
minimum frequency) when the reference
frequency is below the minimum frequency
then select [Y]ES.
If the Microdrive is required to stop and wait in
the ready mode when the reference
frequency is below the minimum frequency
then select [N]O.
