FUNCTION Determines the language displayed by the
Microdrive.
SETTING UP Choose the appropriate language.

Options SHORT [Y]/FULL [N]
FUNCTION Provides the choice of the basic minimum
function menu of screens.
SETTING UP Unless you have a requirement to access
functions not available in the short menus,
select Y. If the extended functions are required,
select N.
97 INITIALISATION
Screen 97 INITILISE =N
Description INITIALISE ALL SETTINGS
Options [Y]ES / [N]O
FUNCTION Resets all internal settings to the default
(factory set) condition. The default settings
are those shown in this section, the summary
tables and the commissioning configuration
records.
Initialisation is usually used to completely reset
a Microdrive for use in a new application. It can
also be useful to return the Microdrive to a
known and defined state if you have become
lost or confused about the settings that are
entered.
SETTING UP
WARNING: Initialising the Microdrive RESETS ALL
SETTINGS to the default settings. Use the
Commissioning Configuration Form to record
any set up that you wish to retain for re-entry
after initialising.
Enter YES [Y] to initialise the Microdrive. The
display shows INITIALISING... while doing
so.

Description COMMISSION MODE
Options [Y]ES/[N]O
FUNCTION Provides a means of preventing accidental
adjustment of the control screens.
The Microdrive must be set to commission
mode (Y) before adjustment can be made to
any screen except keyboard frequency and
start/stop.
Setting the commission screen to N prevents
adjustment of any screen.
SETTING UP Hint: To help prevent unauthorised entry to
this screen (if commissioning is inhibited), the
display stops automatic scrolling at Screen 97.
To enter the commissioning screen, the +
button must be released then pressed and
held again for five seconds.
Set the display to Y if you wish to adjust any
parameter.
Reset the display to N when you have finished
your adjustments to prevent unauthorised
adjustment.
