Insert the battery with the 2
mark facing toward the lens.
To remove the battery, push the battery
lock lever in the direction of the arrow (3)
with your finger. Remove the battery
when it pops out slightly.

Close the battery cover, and then
slide it in the direction of the
arrow (4→5).
You can confirm remaining battery level by checking the display on the
monitor.

w (Green) Battery is full.
x (Green) Battery is close to full.
y (Yellow) Battery is running low.
z (Red) Battery is almost empty.
[Battery depleted] The camera turns off after displaying the message.
y or z (Red) may appear even when the battery level is sufficient if the
camera is used at low temperatures or when performing continuous shooting
for a long period of time. In this situation, turn the camera off and on again. If
w (Green) appears, you can use the camera.
