Cleaning the Spectrometer
Clean the outside of the instrument using a damp cloth. If necessary, a mild detergent
may be used. Before you clean the entire instrument, always perform a patch test on an
inconspicuous area.
Avoid spilling liquid into the instrument. Clean all external spills immediately. If anything
that is spilled enters the main body of the spectrometer, switch off the power and contact
a PerkinElmer Service Engineer.
CAUTION
Do not touch or attempt to clean any optical surface in the
instrument, because this will impair its performance and may easily
damage the component.
Cleaning the Display
Clean grease and dirt off the Display using a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent.
