12. If you are prompted by the electronic service
tool, enter the
confi rmation code number for the
electronic unit injector into the field.
13. Click on the “O
K” button.
The injector trim file is loaded into the ECM.
14. Repeat the procedure for each cylinder, as
required.

Speed Dema nd Input Setup
The 1106C Genset can have a digital input that
uses a Pulse W
idth Modulated (PWM) signal, an
analog input or an input that is provided through a
communications port (J1939 Torque Speed Control
(TSC1)). Th
e Electronic Control Module (ECM) must
be programmed for the type of input that is being
used. With certain types of primary input, a second
input may be
available.
The input is set up using the electronic service tool.
From the m e
nu, select “Services”. On the “Services”
screen, select “Throttle Configuration”. Select the
type of input from the following list:
•
Analog throttle

Typical R ange of Throttle
(1) Lower Diagnostic Lim it (Default=5)
(2) Lower Position Lim it (Default=10)
(3) Initial Lower Position (Default=20)
(4) Lower Dead Zone % (Default=5)
(5) Upper Dead Zone % (Default=5)
(6) Initial Upper Position (Default=70)
(7) Upper Pos ition Limit (Default=85)
(8) Upper D iagnostic Limit (Default=90)
PWM inputs and communications port inputs do not
require any additional programming. If an analog
input is selected, the following parameters must be
programmed into the ECM.
Lower Diagnostic Limit
This is the minimum throttle percentage that should
be detected by the ECM in normal operation when
the pedal is in the “off” position. A value below this
limit will generate a short circuit diagnostic code.
The range of this diagnostic detection area is from
0 percent to the programmed value for the lower
position limit.
