Quick Reference Guide for the Distributor perma MP-6
OnthispageyouwillndsomeimportantinformationforquickandeasyoperationandsettingofyourpermaMP-6dis-
tributor.BeforethepermaMP-6isused,priortotheassemblyofthedistributorwithalubricatorofthepermaPROrange
andwheneveryouneeddetailedinformation,youshouldreadthecompleteOperatingInstructions,whichcontaininfor-
mationthatmustbeobserved.Makesuretofollowtheinstructionsgiveninthechapter“SafetyInstructions”.
Additionally,youhavetoobservetheOperatingInstructionsoftheconnectedlubricator.

♦ Screwconnectionsintotheoutletsthatyouwanttoactivateandsealtheotheroutletswithplugs.

Connect perma MP-6 to the Lubricator
(refer to chapter 4.3)
♦ Screwthelubricatortightlyintothethreadofthedistributor.
♦ Positiontherearsidesofthelubricatorandthedistributoratonelevel.
♦ Attachthedistributorandthelubricatortothemountingdeviceandxitusingthefourbores(refertogure6).
♦ Connectthelubricanttubes(Ø8x1.5,inner-Ø5mm,admissibletotallengthperpipeupto5m)tothe
connectingpiecesofthedistributorandlaythembetweenthedistributorandthelubricationpoint.
♦ Connectthelubricatorwiththedistributorusingtheconnectingcable.Forthis,thelubricationsystemmust
beswitchedoff.

Determine Discharge Period
(refer to chapter 5.7)
♦ Determinetherequiredlubricantvolume(cm
3
)peronehundredoperatinghourswhiletakingintoaccountthe
numberofopenoutlets.Forthis,youhavetomultiplythelubricantvolumewiththenumberofopenoutlets.
♦ Youhavetotakeintoaccountthatthisdistributorisabletosupplyanequalamountoflubricanttouptosix
lubricationpoints.
♦ DeterminetherequireddischargevolumeusingtheOperatingInstructionsofthelubricator.Dependingonthe
sizeofthePROLCunityoucanthendeterminethesettingofthedischargeperiodandthesettingmode.
♦ YoumayalsorefertoourpermaSELECTprogramwhichcanbedownloadedfromourwebpagefreeof
charge.Ithelpsyouinselectingthecorrectsettings.

Setting and Starting the Complete Lubrication System
(refer to chapter 5.5)
♦ Setdischargeperiodorimpulsemode,sizeofPROLCunit,outlets,PIN(refertoPRO/PROCoperating
instructions,chapter6.8,ofeachlubricator).
♦ KeeptheON/OFF/SELECTbuttonofthelubricatorPROpresseduntilthedisplaynolongershows“ ”
(forOff).
TostartthelubricationsystemPRO Cswitchonpowersupply.
♦ Anautomaticinitializationiscarriedoutbythelubricationsystemandthedisplayshowsthecountingofthe
outlets.
♦ Aftertheinitializationiscomplete,thedisplayofthelubricatorshowstheremainingvolumeandthelubri-
cationsystemstartstooperate.
