Low-Temperature Cut-Off of the Lubrication System
Thetemperaturerangefrom0°Cto-19°C(32°Fto-2.2°F)isindicatedbyablinkingicecrystalsymbol(refer
togure16).
InthistemperaturerangethelubricationsystempermaPROCcontinuestooperatewithoutinterruption.
Please note, that in this temperature range an additional discharge is not possible!

Inordertoprotectthesystemfromdamage,thelow-temperaturecut-offofthelubricationsystemisautomatically
carriedoutbythecontrolsystemandthebuilt-intemperaturesensor.
Ifthetemperaturereachesorfallsbelow-20°C(-4°F),thelubricatorisswitchedoffbythelow-temperature
cut-offandtheicecrystalsymbolispermanentlyindicatedonthedisplay.Theremainingvolumeisstilldisplayed
in%Vol.
From this time onwards, the lubricant is no longer discharged. You have to take this fact into account if
your system continues to operate in order to prevent damages!
Assoonasthetemperaturerisesandreaches-19°C(-2.2°F)orhigher,thecontrolsystemswitchesthe
lubricationsystemonagain.
Thedisplayshowstheremainingvolumeandtheblinkingiceicon.
Alldischarges(exceptadditionaldischarges),accumulatedduringtheshut-off,willbecaughtupwhen
thesystemcontinuesoperation(atamax.oftwoadditionaldischargeswitheveryregulardischarge).
6.9 Calculation of the Remaining Discharge Period
Pleasenote,thatincaseofoneorseveraladditionaldischarges,theremainingdischargeperiodofthelubrica-
tionsystemmustberecalculated.Thisalsoappliesincaseofacut-offofthelubricationsystemduetoalong
machinestandstill(e.g.weekendsorannualholidays)orincaseofalow-temperaturecut-offcarriedoutbythe
systemiftemperaturesreach-20°C(-4°F).
Youshouldalsonotetheresultofyourcalculationoftheremainingdischargeperiodinyourlubricationand
maintenanceschedule.
IfyouhavesetthepermaPROCtoimpulsemode,youcannotcalculatetheremainingdischargeperiodsince
thevalueforthesetdischargeperiod(SDP)isnotavailable.
Inthiscase,youhavetopayattentiontotheinformationonthedisplayofthelubricatorandtotheinformation
indicatedbytheconnectedcontrolsystem.
