9 After use
9.1 Device replacement
In the event of a defect, replace the CAPAROC modules.
If you want to replace a CAPAROC module, proceed as follows:
Observe the safety notes in Section 4.1, “Safety notes for mounting and removal.
If necessary, disconnect the wiring as shown in Section 5.3, “Removing cables”.
Replace the CAPAROC module in your application with a new module. See
Section 4.5, “Replacing a module”.
If necessary, connect the supply and the I/O devices. See Section 5, Connecting or re-
moving cables”.
Observe the device type To ensure system functionality, the new module must be of the same device type.
9.2 Device defect and repair
Do not open the housing Repairs may only be carried out by Phoenix Contact. Do not open the housing. If the hous-
ing is opened, the function of the device can no longer be ensured.
Defective devices Please contact Phoenix Contact.
9.3 Maintenance
CAPAROC modules are maintenance-free.
