(8) Select the modulation frequency.
(9) If necessary, alter the basic frequency F
bas
.
(10) Activate the acoustic signal if desired.
(11) Set the therapy time.
(12) Slowly turn up the intensity with the manual release key pressed (Intensity Control Channel 1
<3> or Intensity Control Channel 2 <4>), until the muscle contraction is sufficient. The therapy
time elapses.
CAUTION
Make sure you do not touch the electrodes when the current is turned up!
When using the manual release key, release a pulse each time you turn up the intensity!
(13) Release the button. If the manual release key is pressed again, the current will slowly rise automatic-
ally and will keep the set intensity as long as the manual release key is pressed. After releasing the
button, the intensity will automatically be reduced slowly.
(14) Signs of fatigue should make you stop the treatment (they may already occur after a few muscle con-
tractions)!
(15) After expiry of the timer, an acoustic signal will be issued. The intensity is turned down to zero auto-
matically. Remove the electrodes.
NOTICE
If the intensity (Intensity Control Channel I <3> or Intensity Control Channel II <4>)
is turned up during the time of release, a corresponding message will appear in the
lower status bar. Slowly turn down the intensity of the respective channel then. The
message disappears as soon as the previously set value is reached again.
NOTICE
You find a description of the simultaneous and respectively the alternating stimulation in both
channels under Dual Channel Operation on page 11 .
