Simultaneous Therapy
You will find a description of the individual symbols in Ultrasound Therapy on page 55.
(5) Rotate the Data Selector <2> until you reach the SIM symbol. Now press the Data Selector <2>,
rotate it one position further and press it once again to confirm. A small rectangle is shown in the
upper left corner of the SIM symbol to indicate that simultaneous therapy is now activated.
(6) Set the parameters for ultrasound therapy as described in How to Perform an Ultrasound Treatment
on page 55.
(7) Place the ultrasound transducer on the area to be treated. If coupling is sufficient, therapy time will
begin to elapse. Check that the coupling control is active by briefly lifting the transducer from the
treatment area.
After the treatment time has elapsed, the timer switches off both the stimulation current and the ul-
trasound output automatically.
