Iftheswitchingtimesarenotcritical,theloadsatthepowercircuitscanalsobeshutdown
slowly.Aconnectedbrakeispermittedtohavelongerapplicationtimes,forexample.The
brakeswitcheswithlowernoiseandislowerwearing.
NOTICE
Thepowercircuit'sslowshutdownisnotsafetyrelated.Itmayonlybeused
whenpermittedbythehazardanalysis.
Toshutdowntheinductiveloadsafely,thefastshutdownmustbeactivated
aftertheslowshutdown.Thatwaythebrakehasadualpoleshutdown.
A1/0pulseedgeatoneoftheslowshutdowninputs(S35orS36)switchesoffthecorres
pondingpowercircuit(O1+,O2+)insinglepolemode.Aflywheeldiodemeansthatthecur
rentonlydissipatesthemagneticfieldslowly.
