Adjust the cephalostat head support position to horizontal position, if needed (see Fig. 107, 4 and
Fig. 108 below)

Fasten the loosened screws and replace the covers.
NOTE CHECK THE RADIATION BEAM ALIGNMENT ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN
IN SECTION
“Checking the cephalometric beam alignment” on page E-48 AFTER
ADJUSTING THE HEAD SUPPORT POSITION. ADJUST THE BEAM, IF NEEDED. REPEAT
THE BEAM AND HEAD SUPPORT ADJUSTMENTS UNTIL THE RADIATION BEAM POSI
-
TION AND HEAD SUPPORT POSITION ARE ACCEPTABLE.
