If the distance from the middle ball to the center of the tenth ball on the left-hand side is less
than 118mm and on the right-hand side more than 122mm then the patient positioning mech
-
anism must be moved towards the column.

If the distances from the middle ball to the center of the tenth ball on both the right and left are
more than 122mm then the patient positioning mechanism is too far backward and must be
moved forwards.

moved backwards.
