Advanced Applications
This chapter describes several applications of the SoundStructure products
and the steps required to create these applications. These applications include
conferencing applications.
• 1 microphone with mono video conferencing
• 4 digital microphone arrays and a SoundStation VTX1000
• 8 microphones and traditional mono audio and video conferencing
• 8 microphones with positional receive audio and two telephone lines
• 8 microphones with stereo video conferencing
• 8 microphones with Polycom HDX video conferencing
• 8 microphones with reinforcement of presenter microphones
• 16 microphones with zoned reinforcement of all the microphones and
presenter microphones
• Room combining application with two rooms
1 Microphone And Mono Video Conferencing
This simple example is designed to show how to get started designing with the
SoundStructure products. In this example one microphone and a Polycom
VSX8000 will be used with a SoundStructure C8 device.
The block diagram of this system is shown in the following figure. The channel
names are labeled with the virtual channel names that are created by default
by the SoundStructure Studio software.
