Frequency response
1
1
The frequency response defines the frequency-dependent amplitude error, referred to the reference frequency of 1kHz.
±0.1 ±0.1 ±0.1 dB
Resolution
2
2
The noise-limited resolution is defined as the signal amplitude (rms) at which the signal-to-noise ratio is 0dB with 1 Hz spectral
resolution, measured in a distance of 1m on 13M Scotchlite™ Tape (retro-reflective film).
frequency-dependent
3
3
The attainable resolution is frequency-dependent and specified for frequencies above 10Hz. In the frequency range from
10Hz to 5kHz the specified decoder noise is superimposed by the scanner noise. The resolution is then between 0.1 and
1.0µm/s with 1Hz spectral resolution.

Linearity error analog output
6
6
The linearity error is defined as the amplitude dependent, relative deviation of the scaling factor referred to the scaling factor
under calibration conditions (refer to footnote
5
).
0.5 0.5 0.5 %
Harmonic distortions 44 46 48 dBc
Spurious signals (non-
harmonic)
7
7
The maximum amplitude of the distortion refers to the full scale. An exception of this is just a peak, generated by the optical
sensor in the frequency range 20…25kHz and its multiples, whose amplitudes depend on the stand-off distance.
–60 –60 –64 dBFS
