3.5.3 Connecting the Signals (H System)
Reference
signal
1. Connect up the reference signal to the REF1 BNC jack on the front of the
front-end.
2. If required, you can connect up to seven additional reference signals to
the REF2 to REF 8 BNC jacks on the front of the front-end.
External trigger
3. If required, connect up the external trigger signal to the TRIG IN BNC jack
on the front of the front-end.
Function
generator
4. The signal from the function generator is available at the SIGNAL 1 BNC
jack on the front of the front-end.
5. Three additional signals of the function generator are available at the
SIGNAL2 to SIGNAL4 BNC jacks on the front of the front-end.
6. The synchronization pulse of the generator signal is available at the
SYNC BNC jack on the front of the front-end.
