The SmartRate indicator lights do not appear when:
 You use the QUICKSTART button to start your
workout.
 You do not enter your age before starting your
workout.
 You do not maintain your grasp on both
touch-sensitive heart rate grips for at least ten
seconds.
Heart Rate Analysis
Every time you complete a program using the
touch-sensitive heart rate grips, your average heart
rate appears along with your workout summary
statistics. The heart rate analysis is based on all of the
heart rate measurements the treadmill is able to
complete while you are exercising.
