14 Keep one hand firmly grasped on the towel, use your other hand to pull
on the safety stop key tether to stop the treadmill running belt. See
Figure Below.
15 Turn the power off. Place your hands on the towel and push it up and
down the length of the running deck several times to clean the deck.
16 Remove the towel.
17 While in diagnostics, run the belt speed test, adjust the speed to 7-
8mi/hr. Using a clamp-on ammeter clamped around the brown power wire
at the line filter, measure the current (unloaded).
NOTE: Use the ammeter, not the reading that is in the hardware validation
test.
18 Walk on the running belt and repeat the measurement to determine the
loaded current, and verify in spec.
