17. MOISTURE ANALYZER MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES
This section of the user manual describes procedures of maintaining a moisture
analyzer MAX series in good condition, and means of replacing faulty components
(filaments, fuses).
17.1. Cleaning moisture analyzer components
In order to ensure required measuring accuracy, the moisture analyzer has to be
used and stored in clean conditions.
While cleaning the moisture analyzer, precautions provided in this section of the
user manual must be obeyed.
REMEMBER, before initiating any maintenance or cleaning
activities of moisture analyzer’s inner parts (including a fuse of
a filament), switch off the moisture analyzer and make sure the
power cord of the moisture analyzer is unplugged from mains!
Open moisture analyzer’s lid and take out all components of the drying chamber:
disposable pan, pan bracket, cross shaped pan handle, drying chamber’s cover,
insert of the drying chamber’s basis.
Clean the moisture analyzer using soft fabrics (diaper, chamois, etc.) and non-
aggressive cleaning agents.
Do not use any abrasive agents or solvents to clean the moisture analyzer, as it
may cause damage to the device and its components.
