A.11.1 Alarm Mask Set
Press command 1 in 2E1 line-card menu and enter optical port alarm mask setting:
Alarm mask set:
Local LOS: Mask (Enable)
In this situation, use → key to shift between enable and mask; use ↓ ↑ keys to shift the alarm items;
ENTER key and E key mean to confirm alarm mask setting and exit; Esc key will cancel the input
and exit.
The alarms contain:
Local LOS; Local LOF; Local E-3 ERROR;
Local E-6 ERROR; Local 3E1 LOS; Local 4E1 LOS;
Remote LOS; Remote LOF; Remote E-3 ERROR;
Remote E-6 ERROR; Remote 3E1 LOS; Remote 4E1 LOS.
A.11.2 Loopback Set
Press command 2 in 2E1 line-card menu and enter loopback setting:
Loopback Set:
Loopback direction: Remote
In this situation, use → key to change setting value: Remote or Local, Enable or Disable; use ↓ ↑
keys to shift setting items; ENTER key and E key mean to confirm setting and exit; Esc key will
cancel the input and exit.
The setting of this command includes:
Loopback direction, 1E1 Loop; 2E1 Loop; 3E1 Loop; 4E1 Loop.
A.11.3 ALS Enable Set
Press command 3 in 2E1 line-card menu and enter ALS Enable setting. This function is not available
until the optical head occupy this function:
ALS function: Enable
In this situation, use → key to change setting value: Enable or Disable; ENTER key and E key mean
to confirm setting and exit; Esc key will cancel the input and exit.
The setting of this command is not available if the optical head doesn’t occupy this function:
The optical module does not have this ALS, the setting is unavailable.
