When uncoupling the machine, the return springs of the single-acting hydrau-
lic cylinders must be de-tensioned. Here, proceed as follows:
1. Close the metering slide hydraulically.
2. Set the stop to the highest scale value.
3. Open metering slides.
4. Uncouple the hydraulic hoses.
The return springs are de-tensioned.
n WARNING
Risk of crushing and shearing when the machine is uncoupled
Versions K/R only (single-acting slide actuator):
If the return spring is tensioned when the set screw is loosened,
the stop lever may unexpectedly jerk and hit the end of the guide
slot.
This may cause crushing injuries to fingers and/or result in injury
to the operating personnel.
If the machine is parked on its own (without tractor), fully
open the metering slide (return spring is released).
Never put your fingers in the guide slots of the spreading
quantity adjustment unit.
