We recommend the layout plan up to a spreading width of 24 m. A layout plan for greater working
widths is included in the PPS 5 practice test kit.
• Width of testing area: 3 x track distance
• Length of test area: 60 to 70 m
• The three tracks must be parallel. If you are running the test without drilled tracks, the tracks must
be measured using a tape measure and marked (e.g. with rods).

Preparing three passes:

Select a similar fertilizer from the fertilizing charts and set the spreader accordingly.

Set the mounting height of the machine as specified in the fertilizer chart. Make sure that the
mounting height includes the top edge of the trays.

Check the spreading elements (spreading discs, spreading vanes, outlet) for correct functioning
and completeness.
u
Place two collecting vessels one in front of another at a distance of 1 m in the overlap zones
(between the tracks) and in the track (according to Fig. 52)

Run the spreading test with the determined open position for operation:
