Onceyourdisplayhasbeeninstalledandcommissioned(see
Installationinstructions),Raymarinerecommendsthatyouperform
aninitialsetupprocedure.
Start-upwizard
Whenyoupower-upthedisplayforthersttimeaStart-upWizard
isdisplayed.Thewizardguidesyouthroughthefollowinginitial
settings:
•Languageselection.
•Boattypeselection.
•Unitsconguration.
Note:Thesesettingscanalsobemadeatanytimeusingthe
menusaccessiblefromHomescreen>Customize.
Additionalsettings
InadditiontothesettingscoveredbytheWizard,itisalso
recommendedthatthefollowinginitialsetuptasksarecompleted:
•Setminimumsafedepth.
•Setyourdateandtimepreferences.
•Adjustthedisplaybrightness(andsetupasharedbrightness
schemeifappropriate).
•Alignthetouchscreen(HybridT ouchdisplaysonly).
•Designatethedatamaster.
•SelecttheGPSdatasource.
•FamiliarizeyourselfwiththeSimulatorMode.
Settingthevesselminimumsafedepth
Youcanchangetheappearanceofthevesselinthechart
application.
Withthehomescreendisplayed:
1.SelectCustomize.
2.SelectBoatDetails.
3.SelectMinimumSafeDepth.
4.Usetherotarytoadjustthesettingasappropriate.Theunits
forthedepthmeasurementarebasedonthosespeciedin
theHomescreen>Customize>UnitsSet-up>DepthUnits
menu.
Settingtimeanddatepreferences
Withthehomescreendisplayed:
1.SelectCustomize.
2.SelectTimeandDateSet-up.
3.UsetheDateFormat,TimeFormat,andLocalTime:UTC
menuitemstosetyourtimeanddatepreferences.
Adjustingthedisplaybrightness
1.PressthePOWERbuttononce.
TheBacklightLevelcontrolisdisplayed.
2.Usingtherotarycontrol,adjustthebrightnesslevelas
appropriate.
