1.Checktheunit’sconnectorforbrokenorbentpins.
2.Checkthatthecableconnectorisfullyinsertedintotheunitandthatthelocking
collarisinthelockedposition.
3.Checkthepowersupplycableandconnectorsforsignsofdamageorcorrosion,
replaceifnecessary.
4.Withtheunitturnedon,tryexingthepowercableneartothedisplayconnector
toseeifthiscausestheunittore-boot/loosepower,replaceifnecessary.
5.Checkthevessel’sbatteryvoltage,theconditionofthebatteryterminalsand
powersupplycables,ensuringconnectionsaresecure,cleanandfreefrom
corrosion,replaceifnecessary.
6.Withtheproductunderload,usingamulti-meter,checkforhighvoltagedrop
acrossallconnectors/fusesetc(thiscancausetheFishnderapplicationsto
stopscrollingortheunittoreset/turnoff),replaceifnecessary.
IncorrectpowerconnectionThepowersupplymaybewiredincorrectly,ensuretheinstallationinstructionshave

countdownreacheszerotheunitwillberesetto
factorydefaultsettings.
5.Youcanstoptheresetprocessbypressingthe
Powerbuttonagainbeforethecountdowntimer
reacheszero.
Thiswillselectthesecondoption:‘2–Exitand
starttheapplication’andbeginanewcountdown
timer.
