Apnea
The length of time without a
spontaneous breath that triggers the
Apnea alarm
Range: 20, 40, 60 sec or OFF
Default setting: 20 sec

The number of periods (10-seconds or
more) in the previous hour where the
patient has not initiated a
spontaneous breath.
NOTE: For the first hour, this value is
an estimate only.
Range: 5, 10, 20, or OFF
Default setting: OFF

Unit of pressure: centimeters of water
