A message box will appear to remind the user that, depending on the speed of the connection, it can take several minutes for
the file upload to complete and be confirmed.
Click OK to start the update file download process.
At the completion of a successful file upload the following screen will appear.
After waiting for about a minute, re-display the System Status page to confirm that the update completed successfully. If the
update process is interrupted or unsuccessful for any reason, the unit will restart with the previous firmware.
Note: You may need to clear your browser's cache to view changed pages. If you happen to get a connection timeout
message, do not click the retry button. Instead, wait for a minute or so and then re-display the System Status page to
confirm that the update actually completed satisfactorily.
Note: Firmware upgrades can impact existing ASM configurations. Please read Service Bulletins prior to initiating a
firmware upgrade so that impacts are understood prior to any upgrade activity.
WARNING: Do not attempt to revert to an older version of firmware as this could
corrupt the ASM and render it inoperable and the unit’s return to the factory may be
necessary.
