Do not do the “Up” and “Down” controls at the same me.
Use only, mechanical or electrical, locked switching-units with an o posion.
Disconnect all voltage conductors and control panels that are not necessary for the operaon of
the system.
Put control panels that you can see from the system at a height of more than 1.5 m.
The undervoltage must not be less than 190 V. Long periods of undervoltage causes fast
deterioraon of the capacitors and will decrease the lifespan.
Protect the electric connecons against moist condions.
The warnings that follow must always be obeyed.
Inducon
Problems with inducon must be prevented. Inducon can cause an interference with the
electronics (the limit-switch system) in the RB50Eᵖˡᵘˢ tube motor.
Inducon can have many causes such as:
Cable lengths
External sources
Too many cables together.
The warnings that follow must always be obeyed.
Parallel connecon
Parallel connecon of RB50Eᵖˡᵘˢ tube motors with electronic limit-switch systems is possible. Always
make sure that the load is less than the maximum switch-contact load for the switch installaon
(relay controls, switches and such).
Electrical connecons are only permied to an electrotechnical
installer or an electrician.
For installaon and maintenance work the system must be de-
energized.
The installer must set the Motor-Protecon Circuit-Breaker to the
value of the nominal current of the electric motor.
Always make sure that the protecons comply with the, local or
naonal, laws and regulaons of the country!
Separaon of cables for each tube-motor connecon is necessary.
This prevents problems with inducon.
Always do an inducon test. If necessary install an isolaon relay near
the tube motor.
