4.2 Installaon - Condions and starng points
Ridder components
• The starng point is that only Ridder components are used.
Roller-screen system
• The starng point is a side-wall roller-screen in a greenhouse. The roller screen is installed on
a side wall between the purlins. For dierent installaons, systems, greenhouses and building
structures this product manual does not give full informaon.
Standard installaon (tube motor 550032/550039)
• The starng point is the standard installaon of a tube motor 550032 or 550039.
For dierent installaons refer to “ALTERNATIVES”.
• The guiding unit (550500) is for the standard VK10 journal.
• The tube of the 550039 tube motor has an extension of 74 mm. This makes the RB50Eᵖˡᵘˢ tube
motor interchangeable with the RB50 tube motor.
Installaon side of the roller screen
• The installaon is possible on the two sides of the roller screen (20).
If installaon on the other side of the roller screen (20) is necessary:
• Turn the assembly 180° around the longitudinal axis of the post (B).
Note: In §4.3 thru §4.7 each me the same installaon side is shown.

Put the cable-carrier bracket (8) and tube motor (1) in the correct
posion for the related installaon side of the roller screen.
REFER TO §4.4/4.5. This prevents more subsequent work.
