2.3 Residual risks
Automated controls
The Ridder RB50Eᵖˡᵘˢ tube motors are generally used in automac controlled roller-screen systems.
Persons who do work or stay near the roller-screen system must know about that. If persons or their
cloths touch the roller-screen system when it winds up, it could have serious consequences.
Torque guard
The RB50Eᵖˡᵘˢ tube motor has a torque guard. The funcon is to minimize the risk of injury to
persons, damage to the system or damage to the tube motor. Because of the forces in the systems
(in which the tube motor is installed), Ridder cannot be sure that there will be no injury to persons
or damage to the system.
