Problem 2 The tube motor does not stop or get at the set end posion.
Observaon 2 The end posions are erased or set again.
Cause 1 Moist condions caused a short circuit.
Soluon 1 Repair the electrical connecons. Set the end posions again.
Cause 2 Inducon caused an interference with the electronics.
Soluon 2 Prevent problems with inducon. Refer to §5.2.
• Are the cables not too long?
• Do external sources not cause problems?
• Is there a separaon of cables for each tube-motor connecon?
Cause 3 The decreased braking funcon of the tube motor caused the end of the lifespan.
Soluon 3 Replace the tube motor. Set the end posions.
Do a check of the condions and starng points in §5.2.
• Is there no undervoltage less than 190 V?
• Are problems with inducon prevented?
• Is the load less than the maximum switch-contact load for the switch installaon
(relay controls, switches and such)?
Do a check of the condions and starng points in § 6.1.
Is the duty cycle correct?
Problem 3 The second end posion is not set aer the programming buon is pushed.
Observaon 3 The tube motor does not give a “click”.
Cause 1 End posions that are set again and again caused an interference with the
electronics.
Soluon 1.1 Release the programming buon (refer to step 5 of the procedure) and push it
again for a minimum of 3 seconds. Usually this will set the second end posion
correctly.
Soluon 1.2 De-energize the tube motor. Wait for two minutes. Use the adjusng switch to
erase the two set end posions. Set the end posions again.
Cause 2 Possibly the electronics are defecve.
Soluon 2 Contact your supplier or the manufacturer.
