3 Product description
The Perforex BC machining centre is a CNC-controlled multi-axis system
with spindle drive. It serves the mechanical machining of panels and cubes.
3.1 Functional description and components
The Perforex BC machining centre is a mechanical drilling and milling centre
for machining thin sheets and panels, as well as, depending on the equip-
ment, cubes, such as enclosure housings. The Perforex BC machining cen-
tre can also cut threads in panels, such as mounting plates.
The Perforex BC machining centre has three linear-controlled digital CNC
axes. All three axes are driven by a servomotor with an upstream planetary
gearbox. A pinion transfers the rotary movement of the motor to a gear rack.
The dimensions are acquired with the resolver evaluation of 1024 pulses per
motor revolution that are transferred via the servo converter to the controller.
To ensure a long service life of the pinion and the gear rack, they are
sprayed with an oil-air mixture from a nozzle when they move (blowing
noise). For this purpose, a separate gear-rack oiler is used. A thin oil film is
visible on the gear rack when the setting is correct.
(The above-mentioned axis actuation for the BC 1001 HS type applies only
to the X and Y axes. For this type, the Z axis is driven via a ball screw.)
