The recommended maintenance work and that to be performed by you can
be found in section 6.4 "Maintenance schedule".
6.3.1 Cleaning
Clean the machine daily after completion of the work.
Warning!
Immediately after cleaning or maintenance, all protective
devices and machine covers must be returned to their origi-
nal position and activated, if necessary, before the renewed
commissioning of the machine.
Caution!
Because there is risk of being cut when removing swarf
from the machine, wear your personal protective equip-
ment, in particular, protective gloves.
Remove swarf from the machine, in particular, in the area of functional
parts, such as gear racks, linear guides, pressure fixture, pressure rollers
and swarf extraction.
Clean the motor ventilator hoods in order to achieve optimum motor cool-
ing.
Inspect the filter elements of the ventilation units in the enclosure weekly
and replace them, if necessary.
Remove dust and dirt from all bare parts, such as tool holders and guides,
weekly. Then lightly oil the bare parts and the actuators.
Note:
When blasting with compressed air, ensure that the com-
pressed-air jet is not aimed directly at the bearing assemblies of
the drill spindle and other rotating parts. Preferably use a vac-
uum cleaner or a magnetic rod for cleaning.
