Cleaning and Disinfecting the Meter and the Lancing Device
Overview
• Make sure the meter is turned off.
• Do not use sprays of any sort.
• Ensure that the cloth or cotton swab/bud is
only damp, not w
et, to protect against mois-
ture entering the meter.
NOTICE
To avoid malfunction of the meter, follow the
procedures below to clean and disinfect the
meter and the lancing device.
To prevent soiling the meter, apply blood via
side-dosing directly from fingertip.
