How to clean and disinfect the lancing
device
1 Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
2 Wipe the entire surface of the lancing device
and the inside of the lancing device cap with
the appro
ved cleaning and disinfection
product. Always use the same product for
both cleaning and disinfecting.
3 Dry the lancing device and cap with a soft
cloth or gauze. Make sure no solution is to be
seen in any opening
.
4 To disinfect the lancing device, repeat step 2
using a new wipe or cloth. Follow the instruc-
tions for the lancing device.
5 Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
