messages
If the problem persists, contact Roche Diagnostics (see page 140).
Display/symptom Possible solution
Meter does not power on (either when pressing
the Enter button or when inser
ting a test strip),
display remains dark
Insert new batteries. Always replace all 4 bat-
teries at the same time. Check if the contacts
are intact.
Meter displays an unexpected result Refer to the package insert for the test strips.
Meter does not make sounds Check the settings for Beeper Volume
(page 98) and Button Click (page 100)
Test strip cannot be inserted Clean and disinfect the meter as indicated on
page 103.
