Testing a Capillary Blood Sample

A beep tone indicates that you have applied
enough blood (if you have activated the beeper
function). The blood drop symbol disappears and
the test starts.
The meter now performs an automatic quality
control check on the test strip. Following a suc-
cessful outcome of the quality control check, the
coagulation measurement starts. The circular
progress bar spins until the meter has deter-
mined the result.
Do not add more blood. Do not touch the test
strip until the result is displayed.
