Chapter 1 Detailed Drive Operation
If the commanded speed of the drive is greater than or equal to the skip (center)
speed and less than or equal to the high value of the band (skip plus 1/2 band),
the drive will set the output speed to the high value of the band. See example A in
Table 14 on page 125
.
If the commanded speed is less than the skip (center) speed and greater than or
equal to the low value of the band (skip minus 1/2 band), the drive will set the
output speed to the low value of the band. See example C in Table 14 on
page 125.
Acceleration and deceleration are not affected by the skip speeds. Normal accel/
decel will proceed through the band once the commanded speed is greater than
the skip speed. See example A & B in Table 14 on page 125
. This function affects
only continuous operation within the band.
