3.4 Angle indicators
The backrest in relation to the floor
The angle of the backrest in relation to the ground is approximated by looking at the
measurement (in degrees) indicated by the ball at its lowest point.
Backrest to seat
The angle of the backrest in relation to the seat is approximated by looking at the arrow
(head side) which points to the degrees inscribed on the foot side.
Bed rails must be closed and locked so that the measurement indicated by the arrow on
the head rail corresponds to the correct angle on the foot rail.
The Trendelenburg
The angle of the bed in Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg is given
approximately by looking at the measurement (in degrees) indicated by the ball at its
lowest point.
