4.Troubleshooting
•Diagnostics>Adjustment>DADFAdjustment>ManualAdjustment
PurposeTocorrectimagepositionandmagnicationofscannedimagesviaDADFmanually.Thisfunctionis
usedwhenaresultofautomaticadjustmentdoesnotsatisfytheexpectation.
OperationProcedure
1)Chooseoneitemfromthetable.Therearethreeitemstochoose.
•ImagePosition-SimplexLeadingEdge
•ImagePosition–SimplexSideEdge
•Magnication–V erticalDirection
2)Selectoneitemandpressthe“Edit”button.
3)Changetheadjustmentvaluewitharrowbutton.
4)ImagePosition(SimplexLeadingEdge,a):Ifthecurrentvalueissmallerthanthe
specication,press“+”.Otherwise,press“-”.
5)ImagePosition(SimplexSideEdge,b):Ifthecurrentvalueissmallerthanthespecication,
press“-”.Otherwise,press“+”.
6)Magnication(c):Ifthecurrentvalueissmallerthanthespecication,press“-”.Otherwise,
press“+”.
7)Pressthe“OK”buttontoapplythenewvaluetothesystem.
NOTE
ThevalueofmagnicationadjustmentneedstobecalculatedbasedonA3size,420mm((190mm+
10mm*2)*2)iftheusedScannerA/SChartisA4size.
Verication
1)CopytheScannerA/SChart.ScanningmustbeoccurfromtheDADF.
2)Tochecktheimageposition,comparethepositionofscalemarks(a,b)ofthecharttothe
copy.
3)Tocheckthemagnication,comparethelengthofline“c”ofthecharttothecopy.
