Troubleshooting
No Sound
Check IC5461 and peripheral circuit.
ON:ON_5V high.
Check if the 12V power
supply is observed at
pins 13 of IC5001.
Check audio output circuit.
Check speaker, connection of the terminal “K8F”
Yes
No
Check following steps.
Check IC5031, 5V_AUDIO and peripheral circuit.
Check the Mute signal at pin 1 of IC5031. The Mute signal is output from
pin 350 of IC 301<Scaler>. The OUT_DET signal is sent from Audio Out
terminal.
Mute-On: H at pin 350 of IC301, L at pin1 of IC5031
Check if the audio signal
is observed at pins 5 and
8 of IC5031.
No
Check IC5001 and peripheral circuit.
Check the PC1 AUDIO_IN signal at pins 6 and 16 of IC5001,
pins 11 and 12 of K300.
Check the PC2 AUDIO_IN signal at pins 5 and 17 of IC5001,
pins 17 and 18 of K300.
Check the HDMI signal at pins 4 and 18 of IC5001.
Check the VIDEO AUDIO_OUT signal at 2 and 20 of IC5001,
pins 9 and 10 of K300.
NO sound with PC1, PC2
