9.11 Balance Interface
The balance interface is used for communication of a balance system with the DCU - system. This
chapter provides some general information. Detailed information for connection of specific balance
systems is available in the Technical Manual DCU - System.
9.11.1 Operating Display
Tag Entry Displayed value or function, required input
PROTOCOL Selection of balance protocol
Sartorius Protocol SARTORIUS (all actual / new balance systems)
Mettler Protocol METTLER (MT-SICS-LEVEL 0 and previously supplied
balance systems PM/SM/AM)
ALARM Display of alarms which occur on the serial interface during data
transmission to the remote systems
enable alarms will be displayed
disable alarms will not be displayed
