14.2 Trouble Shooting for the DCU-System
The Sartorius BBI Systems GmbH develops, manufactures and configures the DCU system with ut-
most care. If problems arise with the use of the DCU system (malfunctions, technical problems), the
user or the customer service should return a detailed description of the problem.
The operator or the customers´ service can use the form „Function bug handling“ which is available on
request, to describe the problem. If all aspects are considered this will enable the Sartorius BBI Sys-
tems GmbH to answer within the shortest possible time offering a solution for the problem.
If problems arise with the DCU system we recommend that the user or the customers´ service should
contact the responsible local service representative of Sartorius BBI Systems GmbH first. However, if
no local service representative is available, he can directly send the completed form to:

14.3 Interlocking Functions
Interlocking functions are finally configured and cannot be changed by the user. Outputs
controlled and locked by an interlocking function are indicated by the state message „lock“
in the entry for manual access of the corresponding menu.
The extend of interlocking functions is specific for the fermentor and will be recorded in the
configuration tables. These tables are included in the delivery of the DCU-system.
