9.12.2 Special Notes
A reset of the system deletes all user-modified parameters and settings and enables again
the default settings of the delivery state. Therefore you should do a system reset only when
absolutely necessary, such as for clearing of malfunctions.
Prior to a system reset you should record your most important parameters and settings. This
will allow you to easily reconfigure your system according to your requirements. This is es-
pecially true for the followint parameters and settings:
– process value alarms
– digital input alarms
– recipes
– controller parameters
– measuring ranges
– communication parameters

This submenu (level of operation) is only accessible for authorized service personnel
and staff of the Sartorius BBI Systems GmbH.
