10 MAIN FUNCTION „DOCUMENTATION“
The main function „Documentation“ is used to enable several functions for process documentation:
Protocol printer
Recorder configuration

10.2 Report Printer
The DCU3 - system has an integrated interface for connection of a report printer. If the interface is not
used for a serial balance system, it is possible to print process reports via this interface.
The printer software offers the following possible protocols:
Trend line printout for 10 selectable process values with an adjustable printing interval and
selectable statistical analysis.
Alarm reports including automatic protocol of input and outputs and alarm confirmation.
Calibration report including print-out of all current calibration parameters for sensors,
pumps, and weight scales.
Process value alarms protocol with printing of the current process value alarm limits and the
active alarm modes (enable, disable).
The options of the printing protocol can be selected and parametrized in a corresponding display in
the main menu „Maintenance“ under „Communication Parameters“.
