9.10 Peripheral Interface 
The DCU system can communicate with peripheral systems, i.e. printers, balances etc., via the serial 
peripheral interface. For details about connection of special peripheral devices please refer to the 
„Technical Manual DCU - System“.

9.10.3 Special Notes 
  For detailed instructions about connection of other peripheral systems (assignment plans, 
adjustments of the devices, etc.) please refer to the Technical Manual of the DCU system. 
  The interface parameters shown above are only valid for a protocol printer. If a balance sys-
tem (a Sartorius type balance, for instance) or host computer is connected (via RS232, for 
instance) these parameters do not have any effect and cannot be changed.
