DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT
SATEL-EASy+ is a versatile transceiver radio modem that provides a compact and flexible
solution for many different wireless applications. The key features include:
• 320-380 MHz or 403-473 MHz frequency range
• User selectable channel spacing 6.25 * / 12.5 / 20 / 25 kHz
• Compatible with the widely used SATELLINE-3AS radio modem family
• 403-473 MHz variants are compatible also with Pacific Crest-4FSK/GMSK/FST and
TRIMTALK450s radio protocols and radio protocols of RTCM 13500.1 standard.
• Half duplex radio data transfer
• Over-the-air data rate with SATELLINE-3AS compatibility option (4FSK radio
modulation):
o 4800 bps @ 6.25 kHz channel spacing (3600 bps with FEC on)*
o 9600 bps @ 12.5 kHz channel spacing (7200 bps with FEC on)
o 9600 bps @ 20 kHz channel spacing (7200 bps with FEC on)
o 19200 bps @ 25 kHz channel spacing (14400 bps with FEC on)
• Small current consumption, sleep modes
• Power level of the transmitter 10 mW…1 W
• RS-232 / RS422 / RS485 serial interface at 1200…115200 bps data rates
• LCD display and 4 push buttons (models with display)
• Easy configuration, no need to use external terminal to change the basic settings
• Monitoring of the signal (RSSI) or noise level and the voltage of the power supply
• LED indicators show the status information of the operations and functions.
• Routing/repeater functions
• Error correction (FEC)
• External command language (SL commands)
* Supported in 320 – 380 MHz variant.
