15 SOFTWARE FEATURE EXTENSIONS
SATEL-EASy+ can be upgraded with software features which can be released through DRM
(Digital Rights Management). This allows the user to select proper functionalities from the
functionality list. The following list explains the possible features with detail.
Following features are separately purchased, excluding SATEL NMS Support (YD0403) which is
supported by default in SATEL-EASy+:
15.1 AES256 encryption (YD0402)
Provides an opportunity to use stronger over the air encryption.
15.2 SATEL NMS default config (YD0602)
When ordering SATEL-EASy+ radio modem, choosing SATEL NMS default config (YD0602) the
default settings of the modem will be changed to SATELLINE-3AS NMS compatible.
