7.4.2 Variant with maintenance of gripping force (O.D. gripping)
WARNING
Risk of injury due to spring forces!
The cover is under spring tension.
• Carefully disassemble the product.
NOTE

Ø Remove the compressed air hose.
Ø Remove the cover (1).
Ø Mark the installation position of the piston (3) and the base
jaws (4) in the housing (2).
Ø WARNINGRisk of injury due to spring forces! The cylinder
piston and the cover are under spring tension. Carefully
disassemble the gripper. Clamp the gripper between the base
jaws (4) and the cover (9) in the vise such that it is still possible
to remove the four screws (8).
Ø Unscrew the screws (8).
Ø Open the vise carefully and remove the cover (9).
