too close to the edge of the objective’s field of view, then fluorescence will be lost and
the images appears shaded at the corners. The effect is usually worse as the imaging
depth is increased.
o Try reducing the width and height of the scan.
o If a wide field is important for your experiments, consider using a wider-field objective
lens.
