Subfault: 44.4
Description: Overcurrent phase W
Response: Remote – critical fault
Cause Measure
Overcurrent phase W. – Rectify the short circuit.
– Connect a smaller motor.
– Increase the ramp time.
– In the event of a defective output stage, contact
SEW‑EURODRIVE Service.
8.6.31 Fault 45 Fieldbus interface
Subfault: 45.1
Description: No response
Response: Emergency stop + output stage inhibit
Cause Measure
Basic device detects a plugged fieldbus interface.
However, it is not starting properly and so cannot
be addressed.
– Switch the power off and on again/perform a re-
set.
– If the fault occurs repeatedly, replace the field-
bus interface and send it to SEW‑EURODRIVE
together with the fault number. For further sup-
port, contact SEW‑EURODRIVE Service.
Subfault: 45.2
Description: Option interface
Response: Fieldbus – timeout response
Cause Measure
Basic device detects fault on internal interface for
fieldbus connection.
– Switch the power off and on again/perform a re-
set.
– If the fault occurs repeatedly, replace the field-
bus interface and send it to SEW‑EURODRIVE
together with the fault number. For further sup-
port, contact SEW‑EURODRIVE Service.
Subfault: 45.3
Description: Process output data timeout
Response: Fieldbus – timeout response
Cause Measure
Fieldbus interface detected timeout of process
output data on fieldbus interface.
– Check master communication routine.
– Check the communication connection between
process data producer (master) and fieldbus in-
terface. The data line might be interrupted.
– Extend the fieldbus timeout time.
– Switch off monitoring.
